LITERARY LUNCHEON GUEST AUTHOR ANNOUNCED: TIM GREEN

This year's Literary Luncheon will be held on March 18 and will feature Tim Green, former NFL player and author of many books. His most recent book, 'Unstoppable', is a young adult novel. Mr Green will be speaking to the jr high students during periods 1 & 2 that morning. Students are encouraged to read the book before the presentation and the Jr High teachers will be provided copies so they may discuss it with the students. 

Donations are now being collected for the raffle baskets! No donation is too small...please contact Connie Goldman or Lauryl Palatnick to arrange drop offs.





HAWK TALK...ANYTIME, ANYWHERE!

Log on to the HAWK TALK CHANNEL to watch the video broadcasts of the morning announcements! Feature stories are included as well as important information for the student body. The videos are generally posted the same day they are broadcasted.

 

SAVE THE DATE! MARCH 6, 2015 MARKS THE FIRST ANNUAL JUNIOR HIGH FILM FESTIVAL!!!! 

All Jr High Students are invited to create, direct, act in or produce a 'movie short'. Each film submitted must be no longer than 5 minutes and will be pre-screened by Mr Monastero. Get your creative juices flowing and start brainstorming! Prizes will be awarded in various categories and judges will be professionals in the industry! Details to follow in the coming weeks.

STUDENT DROP-IN LOUNGES ARE OPEN!

The much awaited Drop-In Lounges for both high school and junior high students are now open. Students are encouraged to stop by during lunch and free periods to check them out. The Senior High Lounge is in H1 and the Jr High Lounge is in the Jr High Library.
