CFA STAFF APPRECIATION LUNCHEON

This year's luncheon will be held on Wednesday, April 30. Please contact Eileen LaMendola if you'd like to volunteer to donate food, drinks or your time to the event. Once again, we will be serving a cold buffet and all items are  to be dropped off on non-breakable, disposable platters. To avoid too many repeats….Please email Eileen by Monday, April 14 with what you plan to contribute and any availability you may have. Any suggestions or ideas are also welcome. Thank you in advance for volunteering.

SHED THE MEDS - PRESCRIPTION DRUG TAKE BACK PROGRAM

In conjunction with the Suffolk County Sheriff's Office, CSH School District will be holding a SHED THE MEDS disposal program on Saturday, April 26 from 11am-1pm. Two police officers will be at the Cold Spring Harbor District Office to collect and safely dispose of unused and expired medications in an environmentally friendly way. Proper disposal is essential to protect the environment and ensure that old prescriptions don't end up in the wrong hands. The service is confidential and all drugs are sealed and incinerated safely by the Suffolk County Sheriff's Office. Clean out your medicine cabinets now...drive up and drop off all your expired and unused Rx!

ED TECH SHOWCASE

The District will be holding it's first ever EdTech Showcase (think 'Technology Fair'!) on April 24 from 7:00pm - 9:00pm in the CSHHS Field House. Methods of teaching and learning are rapidly evolving, and so are we! Stop in and see over 30 student-

demonstrated exhibits. All are welcome!  Please see the 2014 EdTech Showcase Flyer for more information.
